PHIL PENMAN X DUBLIN PHOTO FESTIVAL MASTERCLASS - MAY 1ST - 3RD 2026

  • WELCOME TO DUBLIN

We thank you all for being a part of this experience with Dublin Photo Festival and Phil Penman

My approach to seeing the world largely comes from my background as a press photographer. I'lI  introduce you some of my methods and techniques that have helped me over the past 30 years as a professional photographer.

We will explore the streets of Dublin in some of the most iconic locations as well as some less well known and challenge ourselves to ask  "How do we capture it differently?"

We have all seen the postcards! Now its time to create something nobody has ever seen before.

    WEATHER AND WALKING

In May, Dublin experiences mild, spring-like weather with average daily highs of 15°C–16°C (59-60) and lows of 9°C–10°C (48-50) . As one of the sunniest and driest months, it is ideal for travel, though rain is still possible. Days are long, with sunset around 9:20 pm

Bring warm clothing and wet weather gear in case of rain. Shooting will continue in all weather conditions.

    HOTEL RECOMMENDATIONS
